The general admission area is separated from the mat area by a barrier, which helps manage the crowd during youth BJJ tournaments. You can choose to stand right in front of the barricades or sit on the bleachers, both options available with your spectator tickets. You won't miss any of the fighting action; however, sitting gives you a broader perspective of the matches. If you decide to stand, be aware that you might be behind other guests, but the excitement of the tournament is always within reach, regardless of registration rates.
